Lauren Liu

(Piano, Theory, Vocal) 


Lauren Liu is the founder of KeyOn Music Studio and co-founder of Music Adventure. With over 20 years of experience, she is a skilled classical pianist and an established piano teacher. Throughout her musical journey, she had the privilege of studying under notable mentors such as Marina Geringas, Ella Poret, and Ed Janus, all of whom significantly influenced her musical abilities and comprehension.

Lauren's commitment to excellence led her to achieve the Pedagogy & Teacher ARCT Diploma with First Class Honours from the Royal Conservatory of Music. This accomplishment signifies not only her dedication to honing her craft but also her fervour for nurturing student talents.

Over time, Lauren has taken immense pride in witnessing her students consistently excel in their RCM examinations. Many of her students have further attained top awards in various GTA and provincial music competitions, a testament to her teaching philosophy and her commitment to guiding and empowering her students toward their musical aspirations.

Beyond her piano expertise, Lauren has also delved into vocal performance, winning multiple vocal competitions including an esteemed singing contest organized by Fairchild Radio in Toronto. As a vocalist of the Redkey Band, she has showcased her talents at diverse events, including fundraisers and community festivals, thereby contributing to the vibrant music scene.

Lauren's musical journey has been characterized by constant growth, a love of learning, and the joy of sharing her passion with others. Her rich experience as a classical pianist, dedicated piano teacher, and accomplished vocalist has moulded her into a versatile and adept musician within the Toronto music community.

Yu-Sze Melody Ng

(Piano & Theory)


Yu-Sze Melody Ng graduated from Berklee College of Music (Valencia Campus) with a Master's in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games. She received guidance in film scoring from Lucio Godoy, a renowned film composer in Spain. Melody also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Honours) from Hong Kong Baptist University (2019), where she studied composition under the mentorship of Matthew Schreibeis, Christopher Coleman, and Christopher Keyes.

Her musical journey commenced early, leading her to create numerous pieces across diverse genres and instruments. In 2022, she collaborated with Vancouver Film School, resulting in the award-winning "En Dehors De Toi," Best LGBTQ+ Short Film at the Lady Filmmakers Festival. Melody's expertise extended to working as an audio editor and sound designer for Viu TV's top-rated drama "Into the Wild" (野人老師). In 2021, she achieved a significant milestone with an "Honourable Mention: Score" at the Festigious Los Angeles Film Festival.

In 2016, her composition "Warrior" for a string orchestra premiered with the Hong Kong Community Philharmonic Orchestra. That same year, she scored the film 港式拌碟 for Hong Kong Academy of Arts film students. In 2018, her compositions, including "Warrior," "Airways," and "Squirrel Fight," were broadcast on Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK).

Beyond her achievements, Melody also pursued piano studies with professional pianist Grace Lau Lively Stones. She achieved a distinction LTCL diploma in Trinity piano performance (2018) and has over nine years of piano teaching experience, spanning students from ages 2 to adults. Her musical journey extended to membership in the Hong Kong Baptist University Choir and Women’s Chorus.

Jadon Wong

(Piano & Theory)


Jadon began his piano studies at a very young age. Under the tutelage of Marina Geringas, Dr. Michael Berkovsky and Dr. Michael Esch, he earned his Associate Diploma (ARCT) in piano. Throughout his musical journey, Jadon has actively participated in various music competitions such as YIP’s music festival and North York music festival, winning countless awards and demonstrating high competency in his musical ability. 


In addition to his achievements in piano, Jadon has also completed his Royal Conservatory Music (RCM) Level 8 in flute, as well as Level 10 harmony and history. Moreover, he also serves in his church’s worship band, reflecting his proficiency not only with various instruments but also across different music genres.


He is currently studying for his Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia, and looking to major in the field of psychology. Having numerous volunteer experiences at children’s day camp, Jadon is confident in teaching and guiding younger children to succeed.
